Service that stretches our souls is the most meaningful.

Competitors in conquest have overlooked the vital soul of Africa herself, from which emanates the true resistance to conquest. The soul is not dead, but silent, the wisdom not lacking, but of such simplicity as to be counted non-existent in the tinker's mind of modern civilization. Africa is of an ancient age and the blood of many of her peoples is as vernerable and as chaste as truth. What upstart race, sprung from some recent, callow century to arm itself with steel and boastfulness, can match in purity the blood of a single Masai Murani whos heritage may have stemmed not far from Eden? Its is not the weed that is corrupt; roots of the weed sucked first life from the genesis of earth and hold the essence of it still. Always the weed returns; the cultured plant retreats before it. Racial purity, true aristocracy, devolve not from edict, nor from rote, but from the preservation of kinship with the elemental forces and purposes of life whose understanding is not farther beyond the mind of a Native shepherd than beyond the cultured fumblings of a mortar-board intelligence.

No son or daughter of our Heavenly Father can afford to partake of things that will weaken the mind, the body, or the eternal spirit. These include drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and pornography. You cannot be involved in immoral activity. You cannot do these things and be valiant as warriors in the cause of the Lord in the great, everlasting contest that goes on for the souls of our Father's children.

We need women who...

"The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity."

God has dealt with the weaknesses of his servants in every age. It is amazing how consistently the biographies of great bible leaders commence in weakness and then grow in strength....God knew each of these servants to be diamonds in the rough, and while their refining often involved the shock and heartbreak of many bitter experiences, never the less they each finally came forth as polished gems of brilliant integrity. Jacob was one of these who went through the polishing mill. The offense in his earlier life of trying to decieve his father finally faded into the shadows as God taught him complete purity of purpose and helped him rise to the pinnacle of his best potential self. As it was said of another, so might it be said of Jacob, "yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered."
