The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.

Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.

The ultimate resource is people--skilled, spirited, hopeful people--who will exert their wills and imaginations for their own benefit as well as in the spirit of faith and social concern. Inevitably they will benefit not only themselves but the poor and the rest of us as well.
